Fans of Owen Vong, sushi chef at the Pacific Rim restaurant in Cockeysville, are now seen milling around the new Belvedere Square Market, where Owen and James Lin have opened Ikan (pronounced "Econ") Seafood. Boasting an impressive array of sushi-quality seafood for sale, along with a sushi bar featuring Owen at the helm, Ikan (Malaysian for "fish") Seafood is a hit with sushi novices and veterans alike. Owen and James are thrilled about the Market's revitalization and feel it offers a great space to sell what they deem "the freshest sushi around." In August, 2006 Ikan Seafood was recognized by Baltimore Magazine as the "Best of Baltimore" in Calamari. Fresh Seafood, fresh sushi- give it a try- you can't go wrong!
